Professional email accounts using your own domain name (e.g., info@yourbusiness.co.tz) are essential for establishing credibility and trust with your customers. With SakuraHost cPanel hosting, you can create and manage unlimited email accounts effortlessly.
Why Use a Professional Email Address?
Using a free email provider like Gmail or Yahoo for business communications can undermine your professional image. A domain-based email address communicates legitimacy, strengthens your brand identity, and ensures that customers take your correspondence seriously. Every SakuraHost hosting plan includes email hosting at no additional cost.
Prerequisites
Before creating email accounts, ensure you have the following:
- An active hosting account with SakuraHost
- A registered domain name pointed to SakuraHost nameservers
- Access to your cPanel dashboard
Step 1: Log In to cPanel
Step 1.2: Click on Services > My Services, then select your hosting package.
Step 1.3: Click the Login to cPanel button on the left sidebar. This will open cPanel in a new tab.
Step 2: Navigate to Email Accounts
Step 2.2: Click on Email Accounts to open the email management interface.
Step 3: Create a New Email Account
Step 3.2: In the Username field, enter the desired email prefix (e.g., info, sales, support).
Step 3.3: If you have multiple domains, select the appropriate domain from the dropdown menu.
Step 3.4: Enter a strong password or click Generate to create a secure password automatically. Ensure the strength meter shows Strong (65+).
Step 3.5: Set the Storage Space (mailbox quota). We recommend at least 1024 MB (1 GB) for regular use. You can also select Unlimited if your hosting plan permits.
Step 3.6: Click + Create to finalize the new email account.
Step 4: Access Your New Email
Once created, you can access your email in several ways:
Webmail Access
Navigate to yourdomain.co.tz/webmail or webmail.yourdomain.co.tz in your browser. Log in with your full email address and password. SakuraHost provides Roundcube as the default webmail client.
Email Client Configuration
You can configure your email in desktop and mobile clients using these settings:
Incoming Server (POP3): mail.yourdomain.co.tz | Port: 995 | SSL/TLS
Outgoing Server (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.co.tz | Port: 465 | SSL/TLS

Best Practices
Follow these guidelines to maintain a professional email setup:
- Always set up SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records for email authentication (see our dedicated guide)
- Use IMAP instead of POP3 to keep emails synchronized across all devices
- Regularly monitor mailbox quotas to prevent bounced emails
- Create email forwarders for role-based addresses that forward to specific team members
- Enable two-factor authentication on your cPanel account for security
