cPanel is the industry-leading web hosting control panel used by SakuraHost to give you full management access to your hosting environment. Through cPanel, you can manage your website files, email accounts, databases, DNS zones, security certificates, and much more — all from an intuitive web-based interface. This guide shows you how to access cPanel for the first time and introduces you to its key features.
Three Ways to Access cPanel
SakuraHost provides three methods for accessing your cPanel dashboard. We recommend Method 1 for most users as it is the simplest and most secure.
Method 1: Through the SakuraHost Client Area (Recommended)
The easiest way to access cPanel is through the single sign-on (SSO) feature in your SakuraHost client area. This method automatically logs you into cPanel without requiring separate credentials.
Method 2: Direct URL Access
You can access cPanel directly via your browser using your domain name or server IP address:
or
https://[server-ip]:2083
Replace yourdomain.co.tz with your actual domain name or [server-ip] with your server's IP address (found in your service details or welcome email). The :2083 port number is the standard secure cPanel port.
When using direct URL access, you will see a login page where you need to enter your cPanel username and password. These credentials were sent in your welcome email when your hosting service was activated.
Method 3: From Your Welcome Email
The welcome email sent after your hosting activation contains a direct link to cPanel along with your login credentials. Simply click the cPanel URL in the email and enter the provided username and password.

- Enable Two-Factor Authentication — Navigate to Security > Two-Factor Authentication and enable it for an added security layer.
- Set up your email accounts — Create professional email addresses for your domain before anything else.
- Install SSL — Verify that AutoSSL has provisioned a free Let's Encrypt certificate for your domain.
