You can use Cloudflare for your domain's DNS by changing the nameservers to the two that Cloudflare gives you. All records are then managed in Cloudflare.
Overview
Cloudflare provides free DNS, speed and security features. It works with .co.tz, .com and other domains registered at SakuraHost.
Why it happens
- You want Cloudflare's protection, caching or analytics.
- A platform or agency asked you to use Cloudflare.
What it means
After you change nameservers, Cloudflare answers for your domain. The SakuraHost DNS Manager records are no longer used, so copy everything first.
How to fix it
- Create a free Cloudflare account and add your domain.
- Let Cloudflare import the existing records, then compare them with your SakuraHost DNS Records list.
- In the SakuraHost client area open the domain, go to Nameservers and enter the two Cloudflare nameservers.
- Wait until Cloudflare shows the domain as Active.
- Keep MX records set to DNS only (grey cloud), so email is not affected.
