Your official VFD tax receipt is sent in a separate email titled "Tax Invoice", with a PDF you can download. It is separate from the invoice and the order emails.
Overview
A VFD receipt is the tax receipt required in Tanzania for a sale. After your payment is confirmed it is issued and emailed to you. It includes a verification link and QR code to check it on the tax authority website.
Why it happens
- The tax receipt is issued by a separate system after payment, so it arrives as its own email, often shortly after your order or activation emails.
What it means
If you have not seen it, check spam and the email address on your account. You can ask us to resend it at any time.
How to fix it
- Search your inbox and spam for an email titled Tax Invoice.
- Open it and download the PDF attachment.
- Use the link or QR code on the receipt to verify it online if your accountant asks.
- If you did not receive it, check the email on your account, then open a ticket with the invoice number so we can resend it.
- Make sure your TIN is on your account if you need it on the receipt: get an invoice or receipt.

No. The invoice is our billing document, and the VFD receipt is the tax receipt.
