Your cPanel username and login link are in your welcome email and in your service details in the client area. If the password does not work, reset it from the client area or ask support.

Overview

cPanel is the control panel for your hosting. You use it to manage files, email accounts and databases. It has its own username and password, separate from the client area login.

Why it happens

  • You are using the client area password for cPanel, or the other way round.
  • The password was changed, or there is a typing mistake or an extra space.
  • The account is suspended because an invoice is unpaid.

What it means

Most cases are a wrong password or username. Once reset, you can log in. If the account is suspended, paying the invoice restores access.

How to fix it

  1. Open the welcome email and use the exact cPanel link and username shown there.
  2. Type the password carefully, or copy it without extra spaces.
  3. In the client area open the service and use the option to change the cPanel password if it is available.
  4. Check the service is Active and the invoice is paid: overdue invoice.
  5. Still locked out? Open a ticket and we will help you reset it.
