SakuraHost shared hosting, premium hosting and business email are billed yearly. VPS servers can also be billed monthly. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay for the term.

Overview

You pick a plan, choose the billing cycle, and pay the invoice. Before the term ends, a renewal invoice is created so you can pay and keep your service running.

Why it happens

  • Annual billing keeps prices low and avoids the monthly payment effort for small businesses.
  • VPS servers can be billed monthly because they are sized for changing needs.

What it means

Check the billing cycle and the quantity at checkout. If a total looks higher than expected, the quantity or the cycle is usually the reason. Support can correct an order before you pay.

How to fix it

  1. Compare plans on the hosting page or see which plan fits a business website.
  2. At checkout check the cycle (annual or monthly where offered) and the quantity.
  3. If the total looks wrong, do not pay. Open a ticket with a screenshot of the cart.
  4. Pay the invoice and wait up to 10 minutes for activation.
  5. Renew before the due date: upgrade or downgrade a plan when your needs change.
